A former devotee of self-styled godman Nityananda has
filed a complaint against him and 18 others charging them with outraging
the modesty of a woman and defamation.
Nityananda
had, in his defence, alleged that the victim, who is a prime witness in
the case against him being investigated by the CID, was suffering from a
sexually transmitted disease.
In an earlier
statement to the CID, the victim had accused Nityananda of sexually
exploiting her on the pretext of teaching her yoga.
Hennur police said that the complaint was registered on Sunday.
